iOS App Challenge at RIT

06 February 2014

My team and I created an app that calculates estimated electric usage for the recent iOS coding challenge at RIT hosted by Apple.

It was an awesome experience and I learned a lot about UIKit Dynamics on the iOS platform as well as different aspects of the MapKit framework. I enjoyed the pressure of the hackathon atmosphere as well as the numerous events that Apple threw to help developers learn more about the Objective-C language. I'm definitely looking into working in more hackathons down the road.
